Having studied in acclaimed music academies in Finland, France and Denmark, Floridante Ensemble's members present a rich program of high quality which "magnetizes" the emotion of music-loving audience. |
The ensemble's members are:
Meelis Orgse, baroque violin Lisa Kawasaki, flute Tonu Joesaar, cello Saale Fischer, hapsichord
On stage, there will be personal items of Maria Callas, courteously granted by Mr Nikolaos Charalambopoulos, collector of items of the great Diva.
And this year, all revenue from the event will be given exclusively for the restoration study of the Winery building, which is at risk of collapse. It is one of the oldest buildings of the estate and was an innovative wine production unit on its era. Tatoi's wine has been awarded in grand international expos. The aim is the restoration and re-opening of the Winery as well as the organic wine production, the sales of which will provide income for the estate's maintenance. In order to cover the cost of the study, frequent fund raising events take place, since the cost of the study is particularly high due to the size of the building and its special demands.
